A guard of honour is there always； two soldiers
on each side presenting arms, two firemen in their
best uniforms with shiny helmets and a stern look,
two little boys, two little girls, two men, and two
women, representing the civil and military elements
of the community, paying a double homage, keeping
a watch at the tomb of their most beloved Friend,
and adoring, at the same time, the One Who said：
"I will be with you till the end of time "；
because high above the tomb on a little throne
stands the Blessed Sacrament in a monstrance, cover-
ed with a transparent white veil.

見張りの兵がいつもいます；両サイドに２人づつ．
２名の消防士もいます．一番いい制服姿で、ヘル
メットは輝いていて、その顔は真剣そのものです．
２人の少年と２人の少女、２人の成人男性と２人
の婦人がいて、それぞれ、地域社会の市民と兵士
という構成を象徴していて、そして同時に愛すべ
き友の墳墓の警固と、主へのあこがれという二重
の敬意を払っています．その憧れの主が言った言
葉は 「世の続く限り汝のそばに共にいよう」．
（それはこの墳墓の頭上ずっと高いところに、
ちいさな玉座があって、透き通るような白いヴェ
ールに包まれた顕示台の中で聖体が見守っている
ことで示されています）
