started talking about the bad times and how they
didn't know how to make ends meet. Once Georg
came really angry.

fro in big striding steps, chewing his moustache.
“ First I met Maxi.” (One of the richest men in
the countryside.) “ Out of a blue sky he started to
explain to me that even if his own brother were to
ask him for a loan, he would have to refuse.”
