Sorry about your cold. Stay in bed, drink plenty of
hot grog and sweat it out； that's the best way. As far as
the summer goes, don't worry. The difference between the
temperature of your home in northern Germany at the end of
February and the island in July is at least eighty degrees. We'll
have a wonderful time.

島の7月とでは温度差は最小でも27度はあるのだから．私た

eighty degrees：華氏なので→ 80 - 32 = 48, 48÷1.8 = 27
摂氏27度
この頃は日本でも夏と冬の温度さは27度軽くあります．
今年の大阪の夏の最高気温37度、冬の最低は6度でした．
（31度差、いやだねえ）
